This is Alice Horowitz with Eldridge for All. I’m working with the Valley of the Moon Alliance (VOTMA) on an independent wildfire evacuation study for a large part of Sonoma Valley. An important component of the study is an anonymous demographic survey. We really need to get more completed surveys from the SON 6C1 evacuation zone, which includes a portion of Bennett Valley Road, in the vicinity of Enterprise Road. Please refer to the map above to see if you are a part of this group contains in SON 6C1.

VOTMA has recently commissioned KLD Associates, an internationally recognized engineering firm with extensive experience in evacuation analysis, to conduct the Sonoma Area Fire Evacuation (SAFE) Study of a large portion of Sonoma Valley. The SAFE study is already under way and is scheduled to be completed by late September.

An important component of the SAFE Study is an anonymous survey (one per household, also available in Spanish) that will help KLD understand what your needs and responses will be during a wildfire evacuation. If you live in the study area bordered to the north by Bennett Valley Road, south by Sonoma Mountain Road, and the hills on either side of Enterprise Road, your help is needed.
